Web 2.0 Tools: Examples of How they are being Used
Education Around the World Kindergarten Blog
Classroom Blog by Devon Caldwell of Oak Lake Community School in Fort la Bosse SD " We have a class mascot named Barkley the Beaver. He is a lifesize stuffed beaver who goes on a variety of adventures. We use the class digital camera to photograph his activities, and then post the photographs to our blog. Efforts are made to teach Internet safety to students and their parents during this process (no first names are used, no direct headshots, etc). The K students help the teacher compose the message and keyboard initial and final sounds as well as some high-frequency words. " http://olcskindergarten.blogspot.com
